‘I am here to tell you a story’

A man with short brown hair and a beard wearing a light blue cycling jersey with yellow design and red accents, looking upwards with a pained or exhausted expression.
A young man with closely cropped hair and a section shaved on the side, wearing a white t-shirt, stands against a split black and white background, looking at the camera.
Man smiling, wearing a blue shirt with a name tag, holding a cane and a clear glass award.

I am a person who lives with a disability and who has ridden over 10,000 kilometers on a recumbent trike.

My name is Tommy Quick, at the age of 12, I suffered a catastrophic stroke, and my life changed forever.

I had to fit back into mainstream school. I did not take an ordinary pathway, with no ATAR score in year 12. I pursued a TAFE course (fitness), and then into University degree a Bachelors in Human Nutrition. I’m currently doing my Master’s.

I walked the Kokoda Trek in 2014, less than 0.01% have done this feet in Australia.

With the ambition and help, I created the4points.org to raise awareness of childhood stroke and highlight inclusion through bike trekking which is a registered charity ACNC. Just like Kokoda, I like setting outrageous goals!

I’ve got quite a few stories to tell about my journeys!

I’m also an Actor.
